ACA (Obamacare) Compliance Strategy
What Is a MEC?
If an employer offers a self-funded plan (full or partial) that includes FREE wellness and preventive services, with no limit or shared cost. That employer has satisfied the Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) provision of Obamacare. Employers may also pair this MEC plan with a fully insured Fixed Indemnity plan (Excepted Benefit Plan) creating what is referred to in some circles as a Skinny Option.
Review and Install MEC Plans
We have directly or indirectly participated in quoting, evaluating and enrolling over 10,000 working families in the last 6 months alone. We fully expect to generate over 10,000,000 in premium by the end of this year, at current commission levels (10% in most cases) these plans will pay our network of brokers over $1,000,000 in new collected commission. The industry will do 30 times that amount.
